A new trailer for Expeditions: Rome has been released, showcasing how combat works in the game and how players will be interacting with troops both in and out of combat. Information technology even hints at some of the larger battles that volition take players hours to reach.

Combat in Expeditions: Rome is turn-based. Characters can motility a certain corporeality each plough, and how far they tin can move is based on their armor. Low-cal armor allows for more movement, while heavy armor provides more than protection. One time a character has moved, they tin can set on an enemy with whatever weapons they accept equipped.

Players can equip special abilities on each character, giving them an advantage in boxing. Between skirmishes, it'south possible to upgrade weapons and armor to provide additional skills, making characters even more formidable in a fight. Of course, the more experience a graphic symbol gains throughout each battle, the more of a threat they'll exist.

Players will need to master the weapons and shields their characters have if they desire to have any chance of emerging victorious after a siege. Each campaign ends with a siege on a specific enemy stronghold, where players will need to manage more than just their characters to break down walls and accept down an entire city of enemies.
